National Trails Day Celebration

WSVS 800 AM was proud to be at the National Trails Day Celebration in Farmville, VA for the opening of another portion of the High Bridge Trails State Park.

Lunenburg County Students Interview Sierra Hull

Our recent project with Lunenburg County Schools proved to be a great learning experience for everyone involved. We at WSVS are extremely gracious for the help provided by Lunenburg County Schools, their students and teachers.

We would especially like to thank Marie Gee and Meri Page Spencer for their invaluable help with this project.

Also a big thanks to Sierra Hull and Highway 111 for participating in this wonderful program for the students of Lunenburg County!

The Powhatan Scene With Special Guest Doug Fritz

We are very fortunate to have a few moments with Mr. Doug Fritz. Doug was gracious enough to sit down with us and discuss Richmond International Raceway’s effect on the community and their contribution to community efforts. Through programs like RIR Cares and their involvement in community efforts such as Meals On Wheels, RIR has worked to develop the local community on daily basis.

Interview with author Lee Ward
